At Disraeli we want to help if you have concerns or questions about aspects of school life, how things are run or how they could be improved. The school Parent Council meets once a term alternating between afternoon and evening meetings to allow any parents or carers the opportunity to bring queries to representatives from the school, normally the head teacher, members of staff and a governor.
Meetings of the Parent Council are open and you are most welcome to attend as we’ll actively look to you for input, ideas and support. The Parent Council is particularly keen to make sure you are fully involved in your child’s education and meeting with the Parent Council is one way of doing that.
Whilst we welcome comments and queries on any subject, we would suggest that specific queries about your child or children would be better dealt with in the normal manner by contacting the school office to arrange a meeting. It may not be appropriate to discuss individuals in the Parent Council itself and speaking to the school when these arise might be better than waiting for the Parent Council meeting.
Below are the minutes from recent parent council meetings
