The Disraeli school offers an exciting, broad
and balanced curriculum that promotes the spiritual, moral,
cultural, mental and physical development of all our
children.
The school is building its reputation on teaching methods
that are successful. All children are given access to
National Curriculum programmes of study at appropriate
levels to help them progress and develop their abilities to
the full.
The school gives high priority to the core National
Curriculum subjects of English, Maths, Science, and
Information Communication Technology. Children also learn
History, Geography, Personal, Social and Health Education,
Design and Technology, Art, RE, Music and Physical
Education. French is taught throughout the school.
We are proud of our methods of assessing children’s progress
and use this information to help them further. Parents are
given regular information on the development of their
children.
There are opportunities in school to learn to play a wide
range of instruments, sing in the choir, or join in drama,
dance and art clubs. The children can also compete in
football, netball, cricket, rugby and athletic tournaments.
